Astia is a global not-for-profit organization built on a community of men and women dedicated to the success of women-led, high-growth ventures. I am a Managing Director at Golden Seeds, the investment firm dedicated to delivering above market returns through the empowerment of women entrepreneurs. I serve as an Advisor to Topstone Angels and a Mentor for the Women Innovate Mobile accelerator program as well as 37 Angels. I support Women2.0 as a first stage judge for their San Francisco and
New York pitch competitions.
I am a Board member at Thrive Metrics, an innovative analytics technology company that leverages corporate communication data using proprietary algorithms and advanced Big Data text and sentiment analysis capabilities. I serve on the Advisory Boards of leading Board and executive search firm RSR Partners, New York City based NopSec, Philadelphia based start up Cloudamize and San Francsico based SwoopTalent. In the not for profit space I sit on the Board of the Center for Talent Innovation and International House, New York.
I have over 25 years of investing and management experience most recently at Bank of America Merrill Lynch where I was Managing Director and head of Global Macro Research. I was a top ranked sell side investment analyst in the UK, Asia and the US.
Additionally I am an Adjunct Associate Professor at Columbia University, School of International and Public Affairs where I am a Capstone workshop advisor and member of the Management and Gender & Policy faculties.
I hold a MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MBA from Cass Business School, London.
